Hit and Run laws in Washington State prohibit leaving the scene of an accident involving any vehicle without first fulfilling certain duties required by law. RCW 46.52.010, .020 The law requires that if any person is involved in any accident involving a motor vehicle where there is damage to persons or property, that he/she must immediately stop and exchange or leave in a conspicous place his/her personal and insurance information, or report the accident to a law enforcement official within a reasonable amount of time.
