In Washington State, the laws of Hit and Run of an Attended Vehicle require that when a driver strikes or collides with another vehicle that is attended (has an occupant inside of it) that he/she must:
- Stop immediately
- Provide the other driver with your name, address, insurance company, insurance policy number and vehicle license number
- Show your license to the other driver.
Failure to follow these rules will constitute the crime of Hit and Run of an Attended Vehicle.
